The powers of the board of trustees based on the statute:
- Determining and approving the policy and general annual program of the institution
- Determining the main and alternate members of the board of directors of the institution and delegating authority to them
- Designation of the legal auditor of the institution
- Approving any change and modification of the institution’s statutes
- Approval of the dissolution of the institution
- Approving the necessary regulations regarding the use of the institution’s income and allocating funds to each of its goals
- Approval of proposed plans to strengthen the institution’s financial base
- Determining a widely circulated newspaper to insert the institution’s advertisements
